Shanghai

Shanghai is the largest and most populous city in China, with an estimated population of about 24.9 million people as of 2025. Located on the eastern coast of China, at the mouth of the Yangtze River, Shanghai is one of the world’s most important global financial and trade centers. Often described as the “Pearl of the Orient,” it represents China’s rapid modernization and international influence.
