SAMPLE ITINERARY:

  • • Depart Manila, and enjoy inflight entertainment. • Arrived in Lisbon at night, then checked in and had dinner at the hotel.

  • • Today, enjoy a brief city tour that will give you a great insight into Lisbon's lifestyle, history, and culture. • Visit Rossio Square, the heart of both old and new Lisbon. Learn how the old city of Lisbon was destroyed in the 18th century and then totally rebuilt to become the city of today. • Followed by a visit to the Church of San Antonio de Padua. • Then transferred to Fatima, the place where the Blessed Mother appeared in 1917 to three simple shepherd children and exhorted mankind to pray for world peace. • You may join the candlelight procession in the evening.

  • • After breakfast, depart for Fatima, and while en route, visit the CHURCH OF THE HOLY MIRACLE in Santarém, the site of a famous Eucharistic Miracle. • Then, visit OUR LADY OF FÁTIMA SHRINE with the tombs of the visionaries and the CHAPEL OF THE APPARITIONS, where the Virgin Mary appeared to three Children in 1917. • In the afternoon, visit the PARISH CHURCH where the visionaries were baptized. Also, visit their homes in nearby Valinhos. • Then, free time at your leisure, and in the evening, join the holy rosary and candlelight procession at the Our Lady of Fátima Shrine. • Then back to the hotel for dinner.

  • • After breakfast, leave Fatima and head on to Santiago de Compostela. Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour in Santiago de Compostela, one of the top pilgrimage destinations during the Middle Ages, along with Rome and Jerusalem. • Visit the CATHEDRAL, where the relics of St. James the Apostle, and brother of St. John the Evangelist, are kept behind the high altar. • Then dinner at a local restaurant.

  • • For over a thousand years, pilgrims have been walking the CAMINO Pilgrims' WAY. This morning, for those who wish to experience this event, drive to the small village of A Rua and do part of this famous walk accompanied by your Local Specialist. • Afterwards, back in Santiago, you may wish to join the Mass in the cathedral.

  • • After breakfast, travel to Burgos, the historic capital of Old Castile. • Sightseeing with a local English-speaking guide includes a visit to the magnificent CATHEDRAL. • And then transfer to the restaurant for dinner and proceed to the hotel for check-in.

  • • Today, you will drive along the Basque coast and have a brief stop for lunch in San Sebastian. • Arrive in Lourdes, home to one of the world's most famous places of pilgrimage.

  • • Your guided walking tour includes visits to the GROTTO, where the Virgin Mary appeared to St. Bernadette in 1858, the OUR LADY OF LOURDES SHRINE, the BIRTHPLACE OF ST. BERNADETTE and her FAMILY HOME during the time of the apparitions. • Attend this evening's memorable rosary and candlelight procession.

  • • After breakfast, you will have a long drive to Barcelona, enjoy the scenic view and take a little rest while on the road. • Upon arrival in Barcelona, meet the local guide and visit the Sagrada Familia. Roman Catholic minor basilica in Barcelona, Spain, designed by Antoni Gaudí. Begun in 1882 and still unfinished in the fi rst quarter of the 21st century, the Sagrada Familia, notable for its tactile organic form, is one of Barcelona's most famous landmarks. It is an unexpected sight in its urban setting, with its bold flying buttresses and twisted towers looming over the city. • After that, proceed to the hotel in Barcelona for dinner and overnight. Remarks: This day is very tight, so in case we cannot get an entrance ticket to Sagrada Familia, we will offer a short city tour in Barcelona.

  • • Cross the Pyrenees Mountains to Zaragoza. • Enjoy sightseeing with a Local Guide and visit Spain's most famous Marian Shrine— the BASILICA OF OUR LADY OF THE PILLAR, home to a miraculous image of the Virgin Mary. According to local tradition, on January 2 of the year 40, the Mother of God appeared upon a pillar to the Apostle St. James the Greater while he was preaching the Gospel. The pillar is conserved and Venerated within the basilica today. • Proceed to Madrid for dinner and overnight.

  • • After breakfast, you will stop first at the old capital of Toledo, a UNESCO-listed city. Explore the diverse architecture of this medieval city. • Visit its majestic cathedrals and walk through its cobbled streets. Our guide will chat to you about the ancient city and its countless attractions. • The journey takes roughly an hour, leaving you with a good three hours in town to see the city highlights. Many attractions are clustered around the Old Town, so head there first to see the Cathedral de Toledo (outside only)—a Mujedar and Renaissance building that represents the heart of Catholic Spain. • Continue onwards to Designer Outlet Shopping near Madrid | Las Rozas Village for shopping. • Dinner and overnight.

  • • After breakfast, have a morning city tour in Madrid, and then it is time to bid farewell as your memorable trip comes to an end. • Transfer to the airport.

  • • Arrived in Manila. • Home sweet home!
